IZK v SC Chabab Mohammédia: back to winning ways at the 18 November Stadium

For matchday 7 of Botola Pro 2, IZK want to get back to winning ways after their 1-1 draw in Berrechid against Jeunesse Sportive Soualem, where they were pegged back in stoppage time. The Zemmouris, fourth on 13 points, are level with Wydad de Fès and Olympique Dcheira, one point behind US Yacoub El Mansour. At home, they have won both their matches this season, against Olympique Khouribga and then MC Oujda (2-1 both times).

SC Chabab Mohammédia arrive in difficulty: 15th with 2 points from six matchdays, still without a win, after a 1-0 defeat to Stade Marocain. Their coach, Ahmed Moujahid, took over from Youssef Anis in early October. Not to be confused with IZK forward Mohammed Moujahid.

On social media, some supporters expect the team to correct its mistakes after two goals conceded in the final minutes, in Safi and then Berrechid. Some question the squad’s fitness late in matches and call for more room for the club’s academy players, while reminding everyone that IZK belong to the town and the province and that criticism is first of all meant to help the team improve.

Kick-off is on Saturday 7 November at 5 pm (Moroccan time) at the 18 November Stadium.
