Olympic Safi v IZK: a first defeat, at the death
Unbeaten after three matchdays, IZK lost 1-0 on Sunday at the El Massira stadium to a goal conceded in the 89th minute. The Zemmouris stay on nine points, now fourth, one point behind US Yacoub El Mansour.
For matchday 4 of Botola Pro 2, IZK travelled to Safi on Sunday 18 October to face Olympic Safi, relegated from Botola Pro this summer and also unbeaten. The game stayed tight to the end and looked set for a draw until substitute Moussa Ouaazizi won it for Safi in the 89th minute.
It is IZK’s first defeat of the season after three straight wins. On nine points, the Zemmouris are fourth, level with Olympique Dcheira and Wydad de Fès, and one point behind leaders US Yacoub El Mansour, who were held at Boujaâd on Saturday.
